Professional Bio-Diesel Blending Practice & Intercontinental Buyer Confidence

January 30th, 2011

Sound Biodiesel Mixing is Critical to developing worldwide customer confidence. The biodiesel fuels sector should always work to ensure that inadequately blended biofuels are identified before they go to the end user. In colder climates, the thicker layers of the fuel can congeal and plug fuel lines, injectors or filters, stopping an engine.

What is this substance that congeals? It has to do with the feedstock that the bio-diesel was produced from. Feed stocks, particularly those produced with used cooking oils (UCO), waste vegetable oils (WVO), yellow grease or animal fats (Tallow) will produce high levels of fall out elements. These layers of material can also be induced by incomplete removal of glycerin, soaps, waxes, or resins during the Transesterification process.

United States Government benefits are the central source of the bio-fuels industry currently. Federal and state tax incentives are based on the amount of bio-fuel placed in the market. Corporations that over state the volume of bio-fuel provided in an marketed blend defeat the rationale of the tax credit and shrink government revenues. Biofuel advocates are concerned that inexact mixing and poor press reports will lessen customer confidence in their recently established industry.

Corporations such as 70CentsaGallon.com are offering economical solutions through a stand alone biodiesel blending unit that is designed to scientifically blend any combination of biodiesel. It has the capability to provide biodiesel at 350 Gallons per minute and if running non-stop it could produce 180 million gallons annually. It uses an injection blending technology that outperforms any mixing technology out there. This set up is a 30,000 gallon gross set up which can be configured to the personal needs of the customers. Those larger consumers span from governmental & city fleets to large transportation enterprises that rely on diesel bio-fuel to keep cost down and help the environment.

Just like any fuel station pump, a customer can pull up, placed in their credit card, and purchase any one of three blends to fuel their diesel car or truck. The petrol is blended by two electronically controlled fuel pumps and metering valves before getting to the filling hose to the patron’s gasoline tank.

These types of systems are self contained just run power to it and your ready to distribute fuel. No holes to excavate, plumbing to run or put together. It’s the hassle free way to introduce alternative fuels at your location, or use them for your fleet.

The combination can also be customized to match individual needs as well. The units manage Biodiesel and petrol Diesel onsite blending them into B20, B50, and B99 products and solutions. Fleet owners will benefit by regularly using the correct blend for each piece of equipment.

With new systems like on-site biofuel blending systems to assure correct blending of the fuels, the bio-diesel markets can grow and ensure world-wide buyer confidence.

Some Quick Tips About Auto Insurance

November 3rd, 2010

Auto insurance is used to protect you or someone else from loss resulting from an accident or theft. Depending on the type of coverage, the loss may be suffered by you or by another party. Property damage is primarily thought to be the vehicles involved, but it can also be a utility pole, building, or home. Medical expenses may be doctors and hospitals, but may also involve lost wages or rehabilitation from injuries. Each state has established which coverages and in what amounts a driver must purchase to legally register or operate a vehicle. Banks and finance companies also include mandatory car insurance limits as part of the financing agreement.

You must purchase liability insurance according to the laws of your state. This type of insurance covers three categories of loss and is typically represented as three numbers. The first amount shows the maximum amount your insurance policy will pay for the injuries to one person involved in an accident for which you are found at fault. The second represents the maximum to be paid for all injuries if more than one person is injured in a single accident. The last number is the maximum your insurance policy will pay for damages to property when you are responsible for the accident. Liability will not repair or replace your own car or pay your medical expenses, only for the losses incurred by others.

Finance companies and banks normally require that you carry collision and comprehensive coverage until the loan is paid. These forms of insurance pay to replace or repair your car in case it is in an accident, vandalized, or stolen. The main focus of this coverage is to protect your lender until the note is paid. Once your car is paid, you are not required to keep this coverage. However, you should weigh the cost involved against the value of the car to decide whether to cancel coverage or not.

Uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage pays you for injuries or damages if the person causing the accident has no insurance or insufficient limits. Since the minimum liability limits are typically quite low, it is not uncommon for costs to exceed these limits. Uninsured or underinsured motorist is voluntary coverage in some states, while others require drivers to purchase it with their liability policy. Many states that do not require you to purchase it mandate that insurance companies offer it to you. If you refuse coverage, you may have to sign a waiver acknowledging that it was offered and you declined.

Personal injury protection covers the medical expenses for you and your passengers in the event of an accident. In some states, this is required as a modified type of no-fault insurance. Not all companies in all states sell personal injury clauses, however.

A deductible represents your out-of-pocket costs, or the amount you will need to contribute to the repair. The deductible amount is most important for collision and comprehensive coverage. Policies with lower deductibles are more expensive. Your loan documents, however, may specify the amount of deductible you are to maintain.

Other optional types of coverage can be added to your policy if you desire. If you have purchased a vehicle without a down payment, you might consider replacement value coverage. A car depreciates a great deal during the first year, so a serious accident can leave you owing more than the book value the company will use to make payment. Towing coverage will pay the wrecker fees if your car must be towed to a body shop, and some plans will pay if it just needs mechanical repairs. Rental car coverage will pay for a replacement vehicle while yours is being repaired or if it is stolen.

Before buying a policy, it is a good idea to get an auto insurance quote from more than one company. Each company evaluates its risk and history of payments when setting its rates, so they vary widely. Compare identical coverage, using the same deductible and limits. It is often worthwhile to get a car insurance quote from the agent who wrote your homeowner’s policy. While it is not always true, you can sometimes save money by “bundling” all of your insurance needs.

With years of Experience and a good driving record, why pay more for car insurance Edmonton when you have earned the right to pay less.

How To Have A Productive Family Trip

November 1st, 2010

Taking a long trip with your family is a great way to spend your vacation. If you are planning one of these in the near future, then here are some tips that can help you to have a great vacation. Done correctly, your trip will be a wonderful journey of pleasure and happiness. But with improper planning, your trip can easily lead to a pain filled disaster that will create unhappy memories for years to come.

The most important thing is to plan all of your stops. Plan your restroom stops, plan your gas stops, and plan your eating stops. A great way to involved the kids is give each of them a map, and show them how to read it. They can follow along, and will feel as though they are really part of the journey. This can help boost their intelligence as well as their self esteem. You can also teach them how to calculate miles traveled, so you can get rid of the “are we there yet” questions.

Another essential idea is to plan a set of activities that your kids can do while driving. This is important, because otherwise they will get really bored, and want to stop more often. When kids start to get bored, your family vacation can quickly turn into something out of a horror movie. Pretty soon you, the driver, will be the bad guy, and everybody will be praying that the trip ends sooner rather than later.

Naturally, having a DVD player with those screens you can mount on the headrest should be a required element of all road trips. Unless you’ve been living in a cave the past several years, you know these miraculous technological devices are very inexpensive, which makes owning a few of them very easy. All that’s left is to keep a stock of plenty of movies. If you could hook a GPS system into the DVD display, then they can follow along on their maps if they choose to.

Yet another crucial thing is to bring along loads of appetizers. Try to remember, trips are usually a period of fun and gratification, so leave your dieting behind. Potato chips, ice cream, a cooler full of soft drinks is the perfect approach to maintain the fun coursing on your prolonged drive across the nation.

With these kinds of suggestions in mind, you will certainly have a amazing vacation which you may easily bear in mind for a lifetime.

My DVD Acquisition Adventure

October 27th, 2010

A couple of weeks ago I was having a nice relaxing lunch with a couple of old buddies. There was this massively cool restaurant downtown, and we decided to go there. It is one of those restaurants where they play music while you eat. And they way you order your food is pretty cool. You can either go old school, and order straight from the menu, or you can have the chef cook up whatever he thinks is best for you.

Then they announced that they were going to give away several prizes. As it happened, this particular day was the restaurant’s ten year anniversary. The gift giving was to thank all the customers for being loyal, and allowing the restaurant to stay profitable in these tough economic times. There was this huge tank of fish swimming around, they were going to use them to somehow determine who the winners of the various prizes were going to be. I was very excited.

With a huge cheer, they unveiled the prizes. First prize was this portable DVD player. Over the past few years, this little devils have become incredibly popular and well liked by many people, and for many fantastic reasons. One of the most popular uses is to use them on long car trips. They kids can watch their DVDs in the back, completely oblivious to mom and dad in the front seat arguing over how they should invest for their retirement or something.

And not only families can benefit from these fantastic things. They are for anybody who wants to pass the time while in an otherwise boring situation. My buddy told me a story with a great example of this. At his college, you could rent many educational DVDs for a very small fee from the campus library. And when he attended lectures from his more boring instructors, he would watch the interesting ones on his DVD.

Another example that was brought up in our conversation was going to jury duty. Instead of sitting there for six hours reading the newspaper or trying to stay awake, you could easily watch a couple of DVDs while waiting to see if your name was going to be called. If you’ve ever been to jury duty, then you know how incredibly boring it can be.

Naturally I hoped that I would win the portable DVD player, since I didn’t have one, and both my friends did. And to make a happy day even happier, my name was called, and I won the DVD player. I think I will be a customer at that restaurant for life.

My Delightful DVD Player Adventure

October 26th, 2010

So I was out shopping with my friends the other day. It was some kind of big electronics shop, and we were just kind of looking at all the cool stuff. I didn’t expect to buy anything, just a way to kill a Saturday afternoon when you don’t have anything to do. I think I remember my friend saying he wanted one of those new electric scooters or something. But when I saw what they had in stock, I was amazed.

They had these portable DVD players that you could take anywhere. I had always thought you needed to plug your DVD player into your TV at home or something. But these were different. These were completely self contained. They weren’t very big, kind of the same size as those electronic dictionaries you see foreign exchange students carrying around with them all the time. Of course this included the screen also. At first I thought they wouldn’t be that great, because you would still have to plug them in.

I was brought back to bliss and happiness when I learned that these little gems can be run from batteries. And some of them can last several hours on a single charge. That meant I could go to Starbucks, buy a large coffee, and then sit there and watch DVDs while I sipped my coffee. Absolutely and purely fantastic. But wait a second. Wouldn’t the sound from my DVD player bother all the people around me?

That’s when I was in for another shock. Quite a few of these DVD players come with headphone jacks. That means you can plug in and listen in total privacy. Nobody around you would even know what you were watching. They wouldn’t be bothered or anything. Pure genius. And if you were somewhere like Starbucks or the public library, any background noise wouldn’t bother you at all. Just as I was dreaming of my future, I thought of another problem. I could never afford one of these marvels. Surely they just cost several hundred, or even a thousand dollars.

That’s when I received the biggest shock of the day. They were just barely over a hundred dollars, and some were even less than that! I probably have that much money on the floor in my car. Luckily, this store took credit cards. So I bought my own portable DVD player, and I have been happy ever since.

Ready For A Lawn Tractor?

July 28th, 2010

Now that you have moved to the country, you find yourself with new challenges. Not only that, but the job of taking care of it’s all yours.

When you now have three, 4 or maybe 5 acres, the walk-behind mower that used to do a fine job on your smaller suburban lot just isn’t going to cut it. In looking for a response to this challenge, a rising number of rustic householders have turned to a tool that lawn upkeep managers have used for years : the highly maneuverable, highly productive zero-turn-radius mower. That’s the reason they are the single fastest growing gear segment in the outside power appliances industry. Many house owners see the zero-turn as a fast and good way to mow great grasslands. While large commercial models offer plenty of stability on hillsides, smaller home mowers are loads more subject to drifting downhill when on an incline. In addition, the purchase of a zero-turn mower is an investment in a pure cutting machine.

If you’d like one machine that offers you the ability to blow snow, do blade work, pull a use cart, or perform a spread of other roles, then a lawn tractor or garden tractor is going to be a much better option. Thanks to creative design and engineering from John Deere, you do not have to sacrifice the agility and maneuverability of a zero-turn mower for the suppleness and multiple purpose functionality of a lawn tractor. You can find four-wheel steer on a couple of models of Select Series Tractors.

These machines have been designed and built to perform a range of light- and professional quality roles for shoppers who have bigger properties of at least seven acres with more landscape features and challenging terrain.

These tractors come in a variety of seventeen to twenty-seven hp, both air- and liquid-cooled engines, depending on the model. Other features include a unique mixture of engine features and an exclusive hood design to deliver bigger dragging capability and longer engine life. Wide-gauge wheels provide improved functionality on coarse ground and a four-point mount is more proof against abuse and hard terrain.

Next, Weldon Duffy includes more on Sales of John Deere Tractors that you can find at the John Deere Tractors site.
