The Vehicle – Lastly, before you pull off the lot, be sure to look over and get to know the vehicle. Check the fluid levels, the physical appearance of the vehicle and learn where everything is. Things to pay particular attention to are the location of the headlights, the windshield wipers, the parking brake and the hazard lights. Also, if the vehicle uses a GPS navigation system, then have the rental agent show you how to work it.
